New Year Amaryllis – Happy And Alive!
Friday, January 1st, 2010First of all we wish all our customers, homepage visitors and business partners a healthy and successful Happy New Year!
To celebrate this, we’d like to share a story with you from a client in the Netherlands: He is a specialist for rare plants and grows (among others) a special type of amaryllis from South Africa. Now after he was away for some travels and without proper lighting as usual, on his return the plant seemed to have died off and the leafs already showed an unhealthy yellow colour.
Even though he thought it was too late, he felt to give Viva-Lite a go and installed 2×80W Viva-Lite Full Spectrum tubes just to find that after only 3 days of being lit with Viva-Lite, his amaryllis came back to perfect condition adding “this result is absolutely amazing”:
Since then we had many enquiries and lot of feedback from people who use Viva-Lite for their plants and animals alike (e.g. fish, aquarium etc.), many with similar stories.
We thought of sharing this good news with you at the beginning of the New Year.
Organic Goat Farm Lighted With Viva-Lite
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009In the Netherlands there is an organic goat farm which is now lighted with Viva-Lite.
The farmer wanted to light up the barn with daylight so the milk production goes up. She also painted the ceiling which in combination with Viva-Lite it makes a huge difference as you can see for yourself in the following before / after pictures:

Viva-Lite Valkeakoski Housing Fair Video
Saturday, August 15th, 2009The following video was taken on the Finnish Housing Fair in the City of Valkeakoski between 10 July – 9 August 2009.
A special treat was one house lighted fully with VIVA-LITE and created by lighting designer Ilkka Pekanheimo from Ad-Lux:
About the Housing Fair:
The ca. 40 fair houses built on the verdant housing fair area in Valkeakoski form a multi-faceted combination. An extensible, unique house for a first home, a TV-house and a passive house with a vivid design are good examples of the extensive selection of houses. The fair includes houses built in both traditional and modern styles, one- and two-storey solutions, stone and wood houses – not to mention the latest trends and experimental building.
2nd International Full Spectrum Lighting Conference
Friday, July 31st, 2009The 2nd international conference for Viva-Lite Full Spectrum Lighting was held in Fellbach, Germany during the last week of July 2009.
Many interesting topics were exchanged and it was also decided which new full spectrum lighting models and products shall become part of the future Viva-Lite product range. Have a look at the following photo impressions:
